Chainspin Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy
The Chainspin crypto casino operates in accordance with international anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) standards. As part of these obligations, Chainspin applies Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures to verify user identity and reduce the risk of fraud, financial crime, and unlawful activity.
Chainspin reserves the right to request identity verification documents at any time to confirm a user’s identity, residency, and source of funds. Access to certain features, including deposits and withdrawals, may be limited until verification requirements are satisfied. The Company may also restrict accounts where required by applicable laws or internal risk assessments.
Risk-Based Due Diligence Approach
Chainspin applies a tiered, risk-based verification framework depending on user activity, transaction size, and overall risk profile. Verification levels may include:
- Simplified Due Diligence (SDD): Applied to low-risk accounts and transactions that fall below regulatory thresholds.
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD): Standard identity verification for most users.
- Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Required for high-risk accounts, larger transaction volumes, or unusual activity patterns.
Ongoing monitoring of transactions is conducted to ensure compliance with AML regulations.
When Full KYC Verification Is Required
Full identity verification becomes mandatory when:
- A user’s cumulative lifetime deposits exceed EUR 5,000,
- A withdrawal request is submitted (regardless of amount), or
- A transaction is flagged as unusual or potentially suspicious.
During full verification, users will be asked to provide personal details and upload supporting documentation.
Required Verification Documents
To complete the verification process, users may be asked to submit:
- Government-Issued Photo Identification
- Passport, national ID card, or driver’s license
- Front and back images where applicable
- Selfie Verification
- A recent photo of the user holding the identification document
- Proof of Address
- Bank statement or utility bill
- Issued within the last three months
Verification Review & Approval
If the submitted documentation does not meet verification standards, the reason for rejection will be recorded and communicated to the user through the support system. A support reference number will be provided for follow-up.
Once all required documents are received and approved, the account will be fully verified, and access to all features will be restored where applicable.
Restricted jurisdictions include, but are not limited to:
Austria, France and its territories, Germany, the Netherlands and its territories, Spain, the Union of Comoros, the United Kingdom, the United States and its territories, all FATF blacklisted countries, and any jurisdiction prohibited by the relevant regulatory authority.
